View the balance sheet
Quick answerIn MAJA Books go to Reports → Business Overview → Balance Sheet and choose the period — the balance sheet (Statement of Financial Position) is drawn as at the last day of that period, with current and non-current assets and liabilities and equity.
Steps
- Click Reports in the left menu.
- In Business Overview, click Balance Sheet.
- Choose the period. The balance sheet is drawn as at the period's last day — for example Last Financial Year gives the year-end position.
- For a specific date, choose Custom…, set the second date to the date you want, and click Go.
- To compare, choose a comparison in the list beside the period.
What MAJA does for you
- Prints the Statement of Financial Position from the ledger: non-current and current assets (cash, bank, receivables, cheques in hand, inventory, input VAT, prepayments), liabilities (including loans split current and non-current) and equity.
Good to know
- If the balance sheet looks wrong, run Accountant → Books Health; H-1 checks that the trial balance ties.
