Terms of service

MAJA Books LLC (in formation) · last updated 31 October 2026
Draft. This page is written in plain words so you can read what MAJA does with your data and on what terms. It is under legal review and will be settled before the company's registration is complete; the substance will not change — the wording may.

The agreement

These terms are between MAJA Books LLC (in formation) ("MAJA") and the company that creates an account ("you"). By creating an account you accept them for your company. Your company's owner is the person who accepts them and who chooses the plan.

The service

MAJA provides MAJA Books, MAJA Payroll and MAJA POS as software over the internet, with a free 15-day trial on the Suite. The trial may be extended once by you and further by MAJA. When a trial or a plan ends, the account becomes read-only — every report, document and export stays available; posting resumes when a plan is in force.

Plans and payment

Plans are by product or as the Suite, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown at majabooks.com when you choose them; prices shown as introductory may change for new periods, never for a period already paid. Each plan carries ceilings (users, employees, tills) that the software enforces; a plan that shrinks keeps what is already in the account but cannot add beyond the new ceiling. You pay by bank transfer against a MAJA invoice; the plan runs from the start of the period to its end. If a payment is not received, the account stays open for seven days of grace after the paid date, then becomes read-only. MAJA does not delete data because of a missed payment.

Suspension and ending

MAJA may suspend an account for unlawful use or for a reason it states to you; the data stays readable. You may stop at any time: the plan runs to its paid date, then the account becomes read-only for 90 days and is then deleted. MAJA may end the service with at least 90 days' notice and the full export of your data.

Liability

MAJA is software that prepares figures from the data you enter; it is not an accountant, a tax adviser or a payroll bureau, and the AI accountant's answers are drawn from your books, not from advice. MAJA's liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the twelve months before the claim, except where UAE law does not allow such a limit.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are settled in the courts of the emirate where MAJA is registered.
