Generate a PINT-AE e-invoice XML file
Quick answerIn MAJA Books go to Sales → E-Invoice, find the invoice in the E-Invoice Queue and click XML — MAJA builds the invoice in the UAE PINT-AE (UBL) XML format and downloads it to your computer. MAJA does not yet submit e-invoices to the FTA or an accredited service provider.
Steps
- Open MAJA Books and click Sales in the left menu, then E-Invoice.
- Read the UAE E-Invoice System Status banner: the pilot and mandatory dates, and your deadline.
- In the E-Invoice Queue, find the invoice. The table shows Invoice #, Customer, Date, Amount, UUID and Status.
- Click XML on its row.
What MAJA does for you
- MAJA builds a UBL invoice with the PINT-AE customisation — invoice number, its unique UUID, date, seller and buyer names, emirates and TRNs, and the invoice totals (subtotal, discount, taxable amount, VAT and total) — and downloads it as INV-…-PINT-AE.xml.
- The XML is stored on the invoice and its e-invoice status changes from pending to generated, so it leaves the queue.
Good to know
- Submit All Pending does not send anything yet. It shows ASP integration coming soon — will submit all pending invoices to FTA.
- The queue lists every invoice whose e-invoice status is still pending.
- The file carries the invoice header and totals; the individual invoice lines are not included in it.
- Once an invoice has been cleared through e-invoicing, MAJA will not let its amounts, date, customer, TRN or number be edited — corrections go through a credit note.
