What MAJA does for you
- Adds the account to the chart under its type.
- If you answered yes to "money you hold", MAJA also creates the matching account in Bank & Cash, so you can receive into it and pay from it straight away. Its opening balance starts at zero — enter it from Bank & Cash if the account already holds money.
Good to know
- Both the code and the name are required.
- A code can belong to one account only. If it is taken, MAJA names the account that holds it and adds nothing.
- Use the search box and the category chips (Assets, Liabilities, …) at the top of the chart to find an account.
