What MAJA does for you

  • A sales order is a commitment document: saving it posts no journal and moves no stock.
  • Converting creates a tax invoice dated today with the order's lines and totals, saved as Sent, posted to the ledger, with stock moved for tracked items. The order number is written into the invoice's PO Number, and the order is marked Closed.

Good to know

  • Every line needs an Account; otherwise MAJA says Please select an account for each line item.
  • To send goods before invoicing, create a Delivery Challan and choose this order in Against Sales Order.
  • The converted invoice's due date is today; edit the invoice if the customer has credit terms.
  • Converting a closed order again asks you to confirm first.
