Ask MAJA's assistant a question about your books

Quick answerIn MAJA Books click the round chat button at the bottom right, type (or speak) a question such as "who owes me money?", "bank balance", "overdue invoices", a customer's name or a document number, and press Enter — MAJA answers free and instantly from your live books, without changing anything.

Steps

  1. Click the round chat button at the bottom right of MAJA Books. The MAJA Accountant AI panel opens.
  2. Type your question in Ask about your books…, or press 🎤 and speak. Pick your language in the list beside the microphone.
  3. Press Enter.

Questions it answers free today

  • "Who owes me money?" — open receivables by customer.
  • "What do I owe?" — open payables by vendor.
  • "Bank balance" — every bank and cash account and the total.
  • "Overdue invoices" — overdue receivables by customer.
  • A customer's or vendor's name — what they owe or you owe them, what is overdue, or their statement.
  • A document number (for example an invoice number) — MAJA opens its PDF.
  • "Profit this year", "sales this year", "total expenses", "VAT position", "corporate tax", "stock value", "cheques due", "loans", "fixed assets", "customer advances", "net position".
  • "Check my books" — see the daily books check article.
  • "What can you do?" — the full list.

What MAJA does for you

  • Answers from your live books, in the browser, and marks the answer "Answered FREE by MAJA from your live books (no AI used)".
  • Understands many ways of asking, in English, Arabic and several other languages.

Good to know

  • The assistant only reads. It never changes your books. Check important answers in the reports.
  • Questions that need analysis ("why…", "compare…") and drafting documents by chat need the AI assistant, which is not switched on for customer accounts yet. When the AI assistant is switched on for your account, it can draft a document for you to confirm before anything is saved.
  • Voice transcription uses your browser's speech service.
