Can MAJA run a restaurant or café?
Yes. MAJA POS has a restaurant mode with tables, the waiter’s pad on a phone, the kitchen screen, the "order ready" screen, table QR ordering and your own online ordering page, service charge and tips, reservations and the waiting list — and every sale posts to MAJA Books.
Can MAJA run a supermarket or retail shop?
Yes. Barcode tills that keep selling when the internet is down, offers and member prices, loyalty points, gift cards and store credit, batches and expiry dates, stock across locations, and shift Z reports — every sale posted to the books and the VAT return.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your books open as before: every report, document and export stays available to read. Posting pauses until you choose a plan. You can extend the trial once by 15 days yourself; MAJA can extend it again on request. MAJA never deletes data for a missed payment.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer: you choose a plan in Plan & billing, MAJA issues an invoice, you transfer, and the plan runs to the paid date — monthly, or yearly for the price of ten months. Card payment is not available yet.
Is MAJA Payroll WPS-compliant?
MAJA produces the WPS SIF file in the format the UAE Central Bank’s Wage Protection System requires, computes gratuity and the final settlement, and handles pension for UAE and GCC nationals; the salary journal posts to MAJA Books with one click.
How does the VAT return work?
Every invoice and bill carries its VAT treatment — 5 %, zero-rated, exempt, out of scope, reverse charge — and MAJA computes the return (FTA Form 201, with the emirate split) from the ledger, with the FTA Audit File and the VAT Working Report beside it. You file with the FTA yourself; MAJA records the filing and locks the period.
Is MAJA ready for UAE e-invoicing?
MAJA prepares the PINT AE e-invoice data from your invoices. Under the UAE mandate, e-invoices are exchanged through an Accredited Service Provider — from 1 July 2027 for businesses under AED 50 million in revenue; MAJA’s link to a provider is being built ahead of that date.
What does MAJA’s assistant do?

Can the till work when the internet is down?
Yes. The till keeps selling and syncs when the connection returns; every sale is then posted to the books in one transaction. The top bar of MAJA Books shows the live connection so you always know whether it is MAJA or the internet.
Is my data secure?
