Call order numbers on the "order ready" screen

Before you start

  • The dishes are items made to order, and the kitchen uses the kitchen screen to mark tickets ready.

Steps

  1. In MAJA POS open Setup → Store & receipt.
  2. Tick Café counter and click Save store.
  3. On the screen facing the customers, open your MAJA address followed by /pos/ready, sign in with the MAJA account the tills use and tap Sign in. With more than one store, tap the store this screen faces (or open /pos/ready?store=…); it remembers.
  4. At the till, sell as usual. For a takeaway, tap Takeaway on the sale screen before PAY.
  5. After payment the till shows the customer's number in large print and the receipt carries it.

What MAJA does for you

  • Sends the ticket to the kitchen when the counter sale is paid (the dish is cooked after payment).
  • Shows the number under Preparing while the kitchen works and moves it to Ready, with a chime, when every ticket of that order is ready.
  • Keeps a collected number on the board for about 90 seconds.

Good to know

  • Without a connection, the till prints the kitchen ticket itself and the number is the receipt's.
  • Delivery orders are not called on this screen.
  • Kiosk orders get a number too, and it appears here the same way.
