Run loyalty points and members

Steps — the scheme

1. Open MAJA Books → MAJA POS → Offers & members.
2. In the loyalty card, click The scheme.
3. Tick On, name the scheme (it prints on the receipt), and set Points per dirham paid and A point is worth · AED.
4. Set Fewest points spent at once, Points may pay at most · % of a sale and, if wanted, Expiry · months without movement (blank = never).
5. Click Save.

Steps — members

1. In Members, search a customer by name or phone and click Search.
2. Click Make a member. Show members lists all members with their points.
3. Use Give / take points to adjust a balance by hand.

Steps — at the till

1. Put the customer on the sale (the Walk-in customer chip).
2. Tap PAY. Under the method buttons, the sheet shows the member's points and what this sale earns.
3. To spend points, tap Points, type the Points to spend (or tap all), and tap Apply the points. Take the rest as usual.

What MAJA does for you

• Adds the points earned when the sale reaches the server. The part paid with points earns nothing.
• Takes spent points off the balance on the server the moment they are applied, so they cannot be spent twice; removing them from the sale gives them back.
• Books the value of points earned at each Z as a liability until they are spent or lapse.

Good to know

• Points are read and spent online only; offline, the Points button does not appear.
• Members also get any Member price offers.
• Run the expiry lapses the points of members with no movement for the set months.
