Receive delivery-platform orders at the till

Before you start

• Platform orders reach MAJA through one integration company (a "middleman") that carries the delivery platforms' orders. You need an account with such a company.
• Your items need codes (SKUs) or barcodes, so the platform's lines can be matched to your catalogue.

Steps — set up (once, in MAJA Books)

1. Open MAJA Books, click MAJA POS, then Platforms.
2. Click New platform for each delivery platform you sell through. Type its Name exactly as the integration company uses it, the Kind, Usual commission %, its TRN and the VAT on the orders %, then Save.
3. Under Middleman link, click New link, type the integration company's name, pick the Store, and optionally tick Auto-accept every matched order. Add their push address and secret if they gave you one. Click Save.
4. Copy the key that shows once, with the three addresses, into the integration company's portal.

Steps — at the till

1. A new order rings and a message names the platform and total. On Home tap Deliveries.
2. Check the order at the top (lines, customer, address, cash on delivery or paid online).
3. Tap Accept. The kitchen gets the ticket. Or tap Reject… and type the reason the platform and customer will see.
4. When the food is ready, tap Ready — the rider is told.
5. When the rider collects it, tap Handed to the rider.

What MAJA does for you

• Records the sale on the platform's account (its clearing customer), with no service charge or fee on top.
• Takes the dishes' ingredients from stock when the ticket fires.
• In MAJA Books, each platform's payout statement can be imported under Platforms → New statement and matched to these orders.

Good to know

• Accept stays greyed out while a line is "not in the catalogue" or the platform is not set up ("platform not in MAJA POS → Platforms").
• Accepting, ready and handing over need the internet.
• Taking a dish off the menu on the kitchen screen ("86") is passed back to the platforms.
