Show the sale on a customer display

Quick answerIn MAJA POS open Setup → Devices (this till), keep Feed the customer display ticked and click Open the customer display — drag the new window to the second screen and press F11; it shows each line, the total with VAT, the change and a thank-you.

Before you start

  • The till computer needs a second screen facing the customer. The display runs in the same browser as the till.

Steps

  1. On the till open Setup and find Devices (this till).
  2. Keep Feed the customer display ticked.
  3. Click Open the customer display.
  4. Drag the new window to the second screen and press F11 for full screen.

What MAJA does for you

  • Shows "Welcome" in English and Arabic while the till is idle.
  • During a sale, lists each line with quantity and price, the Total and "of which VAT".
  • After payment, shows the amount paid, the change and "Thank you", then goes back to Welcome after about 12 seconds. A refund shows "Refund".

Good to know

  • If the browser blocks the window you see "The browser blocked the display window — allow pop-ups for this site".
  • The display page is /pos/display; it must be opened from the till's own browser, not on another device.
