What MAJA does for you
- Late or early beyond the grace deducts the minutes missed themselves (Late); from the Short day threshold it is a short day (shift minus 1 hour, or the minutes missed when more); from the Half day threshold a half day; more than half the shift missing counts actual hours minus 2.
- A punch in only, or a punch out only, counts as a half day; no punch is absent.
- A second punch within the double-tap window is ignored (0 turns it off).
- Overtime is paid at ×1.25, night overtime (10 pm–4 am) at ×1.5, work on a rest day at ×1.5 and on a declared public holiday at ×1.5 or ×2.5 (your Settings choice).
- Working less than the employee's own standard day is deducted per hour at the payroll run, unless the mode is Off.
Good to know
- The late, early and OT grace rules apply to days built from a .dat file or an attendance machine. Days typed by hand count overtime above the standard day after 15 minutes.
- More than 2 hours of overtime in a day is shown as a warning on the payroll run.
- Ramadan periods themselves are declared in Public holidays.
- Reset defaults puts back 15 / 30 / 60 minutes, a 15-minute OT grace and a 2-minute double-tap window. It also clears the Ramadan periods declared in Public holidays, so add them again afterwards.
