Quick answerIn MAJA Payroll go to Employee → Attendance → Add record, choose the employee and date, enter the punch in and punch out date and time, and click Save; the list then shows worked hours, overtime and short hours for that day, which the payroll run picks up.
Steps
- Under Employee, click Attendance.
- Click Add record.
- Choose the Employee and the Date.
- Enter Punch in (date & time) and Punch out (date & time).
- Click Save.
- To correct a day, open the row's menu, click Edit, change the punches and click Update.
What MAJA does for you
- The list shows Worked hrs, OT hrs, short hours (for example "−1h short") and whether the day is a public holiday.
- On the payroll run, overtime on a normal day counts after 15 minutes above the employee's standard hours; hours between 10 pm and 4 am are night overtime; all hours on a rest day or a public holiday are overtime.
- A day worked under the standard hours is deducted per hour at the run, unless the shortfall mode is Off.
- A machine never overwrites a day you entered by hand.
Good to know
- Filter the list by month and employee, and use Export for CSV or PDF.
- Tick several rows to Delete selected.
- Only employees with status Active appear in the employee list here.
